Blessing Box
Donate non-perishable food to fill our Blessing Box, helping feed people in need without judgement. Sign up to help fill the box weekly, and check for repair needs.
When: Donations accepted year-round
Location: Church of the Cross (1600 Rush St.)
Sunset Park Little Library Attendant
Help care for the Little Library in the park near the church for all to enjoy.
When: Every Friday (in shifts)
Location: Sunset Park (700 Sunset Dr.)
Visitation Team
Visit homebound church members and others we care for every six weeks by yourself or with a partner. A brief training is provided.
When: Year-round, every six weeks
Location: Varies
Grab n’ Go with the Salina Family YMCA
Help sort, pack, and give out bags of food to children and their families. Requires moderate physical activity.
When: Fridays from 2 - 6 p.m. (in shifts) during the summer
