The W.O.W. kitchen crew would like to say a special thank you to the United Methodist Women for purchasing a large frying pan, a hand mixer and for replacing the can opener in the kitchen, and to Helen Smith for providing many of the desserts we served this session. All of these things helped to make our Wednesday evening meals a success and we truly appreciate your thoughtfulness.
Thank you to everyone who brought in items and goodies to the church staff for Administrative Professionals Day. Your thoughtfulness and kindness is always greatly appreciated. The children’s ministry would like to thank everyone who donated candy and eggs for this year’s Easter Egg hunt. We would also like to thank Helen Smith, Steve and Karen Cooksey, and TLC for stuffing the eggs and our youth for helping to hide them. We had a great time and appreciate the congregation’s willingness to support our ministry. The youth ministry would like to thank Dale Swindler and Debbi Rogers for coming along on our trip to Tulsa. Dale went out and got a special license to drive the bus and Debbi was a big help in organizing the trip and getting the food together. We also would like to thank everyone who made donations to help some of our youth go on the trip. We appreciate all that you have done to support our ministry. Thank you for all you have done for our family during Mom’s hospital stay and death. There are no words that can express the gratitude that we have for our Church Family. Special thank you to Jim Graves for caring for us in our time of need. We appreciate you standing by us through this unbelievable time. Thank you for the visits, the food, the phone calls, the cards, the rides and the memorial gifts. Most importantly, thank you for the love you have shown us. We are truly blessed to have such a wonderful church family. You don’t realize what a special family we have until times like this.

I want to thank all of my church family for their prayers and loving support which gave me the strength and courage to “keep it all together” during Grady’s illness and death. You surely are the greatest group of people anyone has been privileged to call friends. A very special thanks to Larry and Sonja; John and Jennifer Redding of Church of the Cross, and Ted and Joyce Williams. Grady and I always considered these special people to be our Salina Family.
We are extremely grateful for all Church of the Cross has done to provide Christmas and the message of hope to the refugee children in Antwerp, Belgium. These gifts of love will go a long way in glorifying God’s Kingdom. |
